Nyx Lewis-Schmidt is a queer, non-binary, AuDHD, and disabled poet. When speaking fails them, poetry is their voice. Their debut book, Claimings and Other Wild Things, was published by Latitude 46 Publishing. Their work can also be found in literary journals like new words press, Darkwinter Literary Magazine, and Broken Lens Journal.
When not writing, they read myriad fantasy novels, posting about them on their instagram @cane_and_pages. They enjoy spreadsheets—like the one they use to track all of the books they own (currently 380). They live in Sudbury, Ontario with their wife and three gremlins—I mean, cats.
