Karen Schindler is the publisher of Baseline Press, which has been creating hand-sewn, limited edition chapbooks for Canadian poets since 2011. She served for over ten years as a director of the Antler River Poetry Reading Series, and has also worked as an engineer and educator. Karen’s poetry and book reviews have appeared in journals including Canthius, The Malahat Review, and The Fiddlehead, and in 2023 Gaspereau Press published her first chapbook of poems, The Sad Truth, as part of their Devil’s Whim Chapbook Series.
