D.A. Lockhart is the author of four collections of poetry including the Gravel Lot that was Montana (Mansfield Press 2018) and Devil in the Woods (Brick Books 2019). His work has received multiple Pushcart Prize nominations and generous support from the Ontario Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts. He is the publisher at Urban Farmhouse Press. Lockhart is a Turtle Clan member of the Moravian of the Thames First Nation and currently resides at Waawiiyaatanong on the south shore of the Detroit River.
